The tie up between AISSMS, Industrial Training Institute Bori Bhadak and Maruti Suzuki Co. Gurgaon has opened new avenues of advanced technology for the students. The dream of ITI to provide technical skilled manpower to the nation will be realized. Maruti Suzuki Co. has signed an agreement with AISSMS, Industrial Training Institute, Boribhadak which is recognized at International level for their students in Motor Mechanic and Diesel Mechanic with the aim to impart best quality education to the students from rural areas and provide them with a platform to reach worldwide. This is the first tie up of Maruti Suzuki, Co. in Maharashtra and second in India as quoted by Capt. Shivaji Mahadkar, Hon. Secretary of AISSMS.On 14th Sept 2012, at AISSMS a formal function was organized wherein Mr. Sameer Mungare , Regional Manager , Maruti Suzuki Co., Gurgaon and Capt. Shivaji Mahadkar, Hon. Secretary of AISSMS, and Mahesh Phutane General Manager ACE KUDALE CAR PVT. LTD. signed the agreement .
Shri Malojiraje Chhatrapati Chairman Governing Council was the Chief Guest. Mr. Dilip Umbarkar, Treasurer, Mr. Ajay Patil. Joint Secretary, Mr. Pandurang Kulkarni, Member of Governing Council Mr. Sachin Kulkarni , Executive Officer, Rajkumar Kanade Principal ITI, Mr. James Peter. Training Manager, Mr. Sanjay Ghante. Manager were also present on the Occasion.
Under this tie up Maruti Suzuki Co. provides training to the students from Motor Mechanic and Diesel Mechanic trades to enhance their skill. For this, Joint Working Committee of four people has been formed. The Committee has designed new syllabus which includes the latest developments in technology. The resource faculty from Maruti Suzuki Co. will train the staff and students of respective trade, to generate experienced and skilled technicians. This assures job opportunities of 50 trainees from Motor Mechanic and Diesel Mechanic trade. Maruti Suzuki co. provides the ITI with technical books, special tools , assemblies , working models and engines, for practical training . To improve the quality of training imparted they have assured to provide the required equipments and machinery. This MOU is valid for five years.
