On 26/11/2015 Ford Automotive Student Service Educational Training (ASSET) Centre in Pune was inaugurated by Mr. P.K. Umashankar, vice-president, Customer Service Operations, Ford India. Others present at the occasion were Shri Malojiraje Chhatrapati, Honorary Secretary of All India Shri Shivaji Memorial Society, Shri Ratnakar Jitkar, Honorary joint secretary of AISSMS and Shri. Ajay Patil, Treasurer of AISSMS along with Ford dealer dignitaries.
Aimed to create a pool of talented and skilled professionals for the automobile industry; Ford India inaugurated its third Automotive Student Service Educational Training (ASSET) Centre in collaboration with All India Shri Shivaji Memorial Society (AISSMS) in Boribhadak, Pune.
Through this initiative, Ford has set up an exclusive technical training corner within the premises of All India Shri Shivaji Memorial Society’s (AISSMS) ITI to train students on Ford technology as part of Motor Mechanic Vehicle (MMV) curriculum.
Ensuring the sustenance of the program, Ford’s technical training collaboration will include exclusive Train-The-Trainer (TTT) sessions for institute lecturers as well.
The Ford technical training center will also ensure regular engagement for the students through special sessions from master technician/In-house trainers organized by local dealership, Planet Ford, Pune
